Existem dois tipos de medidores de fluxo ultra-s\u00f4nicos, tempo de tr\u00e2nsito e efeito Doppler. Os flux\u00edmetros ultra-s\u00f4nicos mais comuns tendem a utilizar o princ\u00edpio do tempo de tr\u00e2nsito de opera\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 descrito abaixo:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dois transdutores s\u00e3o ligados a um tubo do fluido a ser medido, e cada transdutor dispara pulsos ultra-s\u00f4nicos alternadamente um com o outro, como mostrado na figura abaixo. A velocidade do fluido que passa pelo tubo ter\u00e1 um efeito sobre a velocidade do pulso ultra-s\u00f4nico, que \u00e9 calculado medindo o tempo que leva para que os pulsos cheguem a cada
