Para come\u00e7ar, o tubo Pitot tem o nome do seu inventor Henri Pitot (1695-1771) e \u00e9 um dispositivo que mede uma velocidade de fluido convertendo a energia cin\u00e9tica do fluido fluente em energia potencial no que \u00e9 descrito como um \"ponto de estagna\u00e7\u00e3o\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O ponto de estagna\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 localizado na abertura do tubo, como mostra a imagem principal deste artigo.
