O resultado \u00e9 que a press\u00e3o de vapor dispon\u00edvel para expelir o condensado pode ser menor do que o esperado. A press\u00e3o de vapor no permutador de calor \u00e9 importante porque influencia a quebra na condi\u00e7\u00e3o de fluxo, o que, por sua vez, afecta a selec\u00e7\u00e3o do separador.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antes da sele\u00e7\u00e3o e dimensionamento do purgador, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio determinar se ocorrer\u00e1 ou n\u00e3o a interrup\u00e7\u00e3o do fluxo nos trocadores de calor de vapor e, em caso afirmativo, at\u00e9 que ponto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se isto n\u00e3o for feito, \u00e9 prov\u00e1vel que o permutador de calor sofra inunda\u00e7\u00f5es durante parte ou durante toda a sua vida operacional. Neste exemplo, a bobina de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra congelamento pr\u00e9-aquece o ar frio antes de passar para a bobina de aquecimento principal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Embora a bobina de prote\u00e7\u00e3o antigeada atenda \u00e0s suas expectativas t\u00e9rmicas (por ser superdimensionada para sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o), ela o far\u00e1 com a metade inferior da bobina inundada. O ar frio que entra a cerca de 0 \u00b0C (normalmente fluindo a 3 m\/s) e passa sobre as bobinas pode facilmente causar o congelamento da \u00e1gua nas bobinas, o que exigir\u00e1 a repara\u00e7\u00e3o ou substitui\u00e7\u00e3o da bobina de aquecimento, causando inconvenientes ou paragens n\u00e3o planeadas. Se a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o for concebida correctamente, n\u00e3o ocorrer\u00e1 qualquer tipo de inunda\u00e7\u00e3o ou congela\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b>Interrup\u00e7\u00e3o do fluxo em trocadores de calor de vapor: problemas a longo prazo<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Armadilhas de tamanho inferior ao normal \u00e0s vezes n\u00e3o t\u00eam efeito adverso imediato no desempenho do aquecedor se o aquecedor for de tamanho superior ao normal. Infelizmente, a situa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o simples quanto parece. A realidade \u00e9 que manter o condensado at\u00e9 ser subarrefecido envolve um certo grau de inunda\u00e7\u00e3o. O condensado que inunda continuamente o espa\u00e7o de vapor causar\u00e1 corros\u00e3o, com resultados dispendiosos.
